i dun wanna study LA~
Somewhere in America right now, there is a 5-year-old kid mimicking the voice of a tow-truck named Mater, while his baby sister runs around him in circles, doing her best impression of Lightning McQueen. Suddenly, the little boy changes his mind because he wants to be the red sports car instead—and his playmate happily agrees to be the lovable sidekick, as she adores both characters equally. But don't we all?
These two tikes are not alone in their enthusiasm for Pixar movies. Millions of kids (of all ages) passionately embrace each of their animated feature films, including such contemporary classics as Toy Story, A Bug's Life, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc., WALL-E and Up.
This weekend, Disney and Pixar are releasing Cars 2, the next installment in their CGI-animated franchise. Coincidentally, the release of Cars 2 arrives with the 25th anniversary of Pixar Animation Studios. Regardless of reviews, it doesn’t take an industry analyst to predict that Cars 2 will likely be another Hollywood blockbuster. Just a surface-level glance at the commercial success of the previous 11 Pixar films is enough to convince me to buy as much Disney stock as possible. With an average gross of more than $602 million each, Pixar holds the top studio average in the movie business. Every Pixar feature film to date ranks in the top 50 highest grossing animated films of all time, with Finding Nemo, Up, and Toy Story 3 slipping into the overall top 50. And their success is not only financial: Since the original Toy Story, Pixar films have garnered 26 Academy Awards. Not bad for a studio that’s the same age as Lady Gaga.
So the Pixar parade continues, and the crowds are endlessly entertained. But why? What does Pixar know about us, young and old, that gets us to line up to unlock our imaginations and our wallets every time they release a new film? And why is it that the animated films of Pixar resonate so powerfully with so many different people?
We can’t solely pin Pixar’s success on the Disney marketing machine, the corresponding product lines or the theme park tie-ins. No, the success of the Pixar canon is rooted in the quality of their craft, and their ability to consistently do what great art has always done—tell great stories.
But what makes these characters such successful protagonists is not their shiny spandex or catch phrases; it’s their humanity. Whether they show up as a helper robot or a rehabilitated great white shark, the fictional Pixar characters always reflect real-life human frailties. Yes, Mr. Incredible is incredible—but he also experiences a mid-life crisis. Yes, Lightning McQueen is the coolest car on the Piston Cup circuit—but he’s a jerk with some serious growing up to do. And yes, even Woody, who is perhaps the most likable guy you’ll find in the toy box, has his faults. Jealousy, anger, selfishness ... they’re all there.
These flawed protagonists win the hearts of young and old with their three-dimensional personalities. Maybe their stories play out in an animated reality, but they connect with us because they are us. why am i feeling like this?
i remember the days in my childhood, when i was in lower primary, my mom always loved to go Takashimaya and go shop while my dad will bring me and my brother to Kinokuniya at 3rd or 4th floor and he will go read his golf magazines, and i would always rush to that ramp, happily climb up that ramp, and grab the Adventures of Captain Underpants and sit down by that corner by the window overlooking Orchard Road. How i wish life could be so carefree like then. Thanks Andris meimei, Jack and Calvin didi, ginnette for hanging out today at orchard. Happy birthday, you!

hahaha. chem learning bout stoichiometry now, chim like shit... haha. oh wells. at least after we got over the mole, things start to get easier now...
this week is one busy week. got so much homework, so little time :/ worse still, ive gained back my bad habit of mapling everyday D: my homework done as of now is less than 25% :/ siannn. i hope i dun procrastinate tmr...
today was parent teacher meeting. haha. walau sia, the photos they use to show what we had been doing damn weird. WHY IS MY FACE THERE D: making fun of me isit LOL. haha nvm. anyways, ive got nothing to be scred about >:D unlike my classmate who DRINKS ALOT OF WATER :PP hahahaha. but ever since primary school, from mrs tang to mr hamilton to ms ng, THEY ALL COMPLAIN BOUT MY CHINESE. WALAU. haha. i this sem not so bad, (HOLY SHIT 2 TERMS HAVE PASSED? SO FAST :O) all A1 EXCEPT FOR CHINESE. c6 sia. if my chinese got like 60+ i can beat youjing le lorrr. D: haha nvm! EOYs must work harder >:D
and recently my class label me as the mugger D: its so irritating. its like giving me a bad name lidat sia. wts. like they mug less than me rite. i sit in front of the com everyday starung onto the mice and hunter's journal, bloody wasting my time, and no one is online COS THEYRE MUGGING. still in the end just cos i did well u call me mugger liao. wad logic is that.

still in the midst of wondering what it means.
haha. listening to glee's version of Friday. well, its LESS AUTOTUNED. thats for sure. and they kinda made fun of RB. haha. listen closely to the cereal part. :D tomorrow is friday, we gotta get down on friday! haha! NO NAPFA :O cos we going for badminton match support. no bio too :/ oh wells :P haha and tomorrow is class photo taking! 1st time having props in class photo taking. so weirrrd. i think i should go do superman pose :D
well, this week was one heck of a stressful, tense week. its a good thing i did not put emotional. haha. cos it was the release of my 1st CA1 in IP. i tot when i came to IP from VS, i'll be like a sucker who is average. but i wanted to prove myself wrong. im gonna jian chi (<--- chinese word) and study hard, haha, and i did get rewarded with great marks :D i especially wanna thank my jiejie for encouraging me all along :D haha, sadly i dun think i can be like the top in level like you did last year, cos of scary people and chinese. LOL. youjing is one heck of a scary girl. even though she claims that she din study much, she got like walao. top top top top 2nd 2nd LOL. mindblown. well, at least shes very humble :D to everybody else who din get satisfactory marks, dun emo and vent your anger/depression on others. its saddening to witness you guys yell at someone to f**k off just because he was near you. damn sad D: plus, his marks aren't that good either, so all the more you should think bout his feelings. dun you think he is sad too? just that he din show it doesnt mean he doesnt care rite. haiz. nvm. i dare not type names here cos its very complicated luhh.
everyone jiayous for the next term kk :D tuesday dunneed mug already :D
can't wait for 2D class outing again. truthfully the bond of my "clique" in VS is more accepting of one another and more crazy. and also more willing to watch 3D movies.

ms ng / mrs teo (hahaha recently married) told the class to close their eyes, and lift our thumbs up. 5 ppl were sent out to the front of class 1st, and they are supposed to use their thumbs and "thumb" whosever thumb whom they think fits a characteristic:)

In a few minutes, it will be “cooling off” day. Under GE rules, I’ll not be able to post after 2359 hrs tonight. But pse keep yr ideas coming. We appreciate all yr inputs, and will follow up to study the ideas and proposals raised.

anyway, unpleasant stuff has been appearing now. my friends are either sad, or tired, or just really weird. i hope they'll be fine. recently the wednesday tests results have been revealed, and the score ranges from less than 25% to 100%. scary sia. lucky im still clinging on to my A's :D but i could do better. SOMONE HELP ME STUDY D: i keep on using fb like no tmr sia. lol. sian. but yea. i am not sad bout my marks, all i need is understanding :D i hope my friends learn that too :D so they wun feel so sad, and work harder lorr :P COME ON. im gonna miss all 4 of u. oliver, youjing, huimin, and siyao, thanks for all these months of friendship together as a group D: still remember we prospered thru all odds, like how we practically had no free time to meet :/ everyday got 1 person not free haha. but still, thru the power of sms, we managed to complete our projects, like bio, the report- highest in class yea man(Y). still remember arts day, at CBD, we split up roles to count stuff. LOL. ohh and chemistry project, 90% marks so i heard, well, with help from shalv, i still did not get wad we presented. only thing i understood so far is how a plum pudding model looks like. oh wells. im gonna miss how oliver tries to draw patterns and cats in the iddle of the classes, the cheerfulness and also math tutoring from huimin, enthuness and also the funny moments when youjing plays "footsie" with oliver :P and also siyao, your proness in english continue improving :P
2 days. and it will all be gone. unless. the random reshuffling is awesome enuf, to group us together again (Y)

(N) this one got a lot of hokkien vocab to use damn (Y). melissa is now obsessed with dua neh neh ._. and youjing is now called auntie big boobs ling->jing. haha. ooh the lady gaga durian sisters are damn what-the-LOL
ASHES have been very effective this weekend. it even spread to my VS friends. <3 and miss u all. good times relived on good friday, when we could come down together at 10+am to SWIM :D always, we would climb up the ledge, jump down the waterfall, go to the children's pool, and slack at the hut. omg i cant believe those days returned. thanks weijie, for suggesting this event and calling the 2D 2010 ppl to hang out again :D haha. did homework from 2-5. cleared half of physics assignment, and at 5, WE PLAYED BANG! AGAIN :D omgeee i miss those days man. free period- take out Bang!- gather at teacher's table- shuffle cards- give out ranks- give out characters- distribute cards- sheriff starts- INDIANS! EVERYONE PUT BANG!

"ms cheryl's wed lit classes very sad... cos, everyone will be last min mugging"
hey guys,
i know things have been upsetting since like the past few weeks, when suddenly we are being spammed with homework, like as if the teachers have a machine gun loaded with tests and workshits... but, its sad to see u all emo and stressed out due to these workload... our seniors have told us to enjoy IP1 life as much as we can, as many of them are complaining how they are trying to handle like 5 projects at the same time? anyways yea. dun get too sad over your marks and stuff. hey, we were doing well in our secondary schools, and that doesn't mean that we will do as good in IP as well. come on, if the tests in IP were as simple as the tests in our secondary schools, what is the point of coming to IP then? :O we were chosen to be in this premier institution, and able to skip O-levels as well! so we should be smart right! haha(: so we should feel proud (well, not TOO proud) about ourselves, that we are able to be here. VIP is a challenge we are taking, but most importantly, its a challenge we're taking TOGETHER(:

"its an attempt to describe phenomenons that occur in nature" - Mr Boy, my aweshum physics teacher (Y)
haha. recently my class has been crazy about theories. that describe certain phenomenons that occur in class :P like BGR theories (scandals mostly), competitive theories, weird ones, and the MIN SEAN MAKES SCANDALS theory. LOLLL. (Y) theres GMT theory. Ginnettte makes theories theory. HAHAHA. pie, dye, dg, MAO. LOL the mao one is epic. ZxZ (z square) is epic too :P haha good times. good times.
okay, im typing this post cos my mind is going to switch off anytime soon- means im gonna nap for 1 hour. sacrificing my precious time mugging to catch up with my epic lack of sleep since IP started :P haha. yesterday, chionging LA essay til 2+am. damnnn sianz. but still fun. my table group has been performing well in class, and partly because our essay plan was 80% (: sooo there was not much paragraph to mass edit, so its mostly blindly copying and rephrasing. haha. but i was uber distracted. and sometimes stuck. cos i was busy with church stuff till very late :P and then still got MH. haha :P easter event (Y) this morning at 12am, i started watching Tangled cos i wrote too much about fairytales in my essay alr, about how conventional ideas like "happily ever after" are challenged in twists of the classics :P

SIAN. cant he make up his mind ): he havent finish teaching pls postpone. i really wanna go full force in math practice one leh ): oh wells.
megan's bday tmr. epic. the class is damn MEAn in the choice of presents :P its like putting lit in real life. ccos there's a lot of puns/imagery/language used. LOLL. but my present is not bad. no hidden meaning. unlike strawberry SHORTcake. HAHA
OH GREAT. MOUSEHUNT JUST RELEASED NEW EGG. DUN NEED STUDY LIAO. NOW GO HUNT FOR EGG (Y)

things have been pressurizing lately. projects, tests, homework. Sean, welcome to IP. stop complaining. LOL.
its like as though someone is screaming how he cant stop attracing and missing a caravan guard mouse.
konk out at 11 plus yesterday. and the day before. sigh. woke up at 3am plus, realise my com is still ON. and my lights are still ON. and. my "planned to do work" is still ON the table. sigh. i hope this weekend=good rest.
goeg options presentation part 2. geog options test. math quiz. next week is gonna be MAFAN. but darren and oliver and i are gonna celebrate soon (: wed school end chionnggg to sakae for buffet :P red plate pink plate huat arh!
food. speaking of food. today was EPIC. before the chinese drama nite, my class ordered Thaipan and ate at the concourse. talking bout IPO. tribe 1B. i forgot mel was in my group. damn epic. haha. thaipan 21 min lunch. anyways. jack and megan was spamming me. "1 serving of fried rice= 3 ppl!" sigh. me and oliver then decided to share 1 serving of chilli padi infested rice. (: $3 divide by 2.
in the end. they cheat my feeling. 1 serving= NOT ENUF. how. nvm. still got butter squid. fattening butter. ahaha. but. still. NOT ENUF. then, the photosoc ppl dinner just arrived. thaipan too. 1 person 1 serving. damn sian. so jealous. got enuf food to eat.

TODAY WAS FUN.
woke up 10am. haha. when im supposed to wake up earlier to do homework :P but who cares, finished bio holiday homework (oooh. outdated) at 3am. haha. sleepy like shit now.
afternoon i went to CCAB (somewhere in bukit timah) for church event. played basketball, frisbee and captains ball, and learnt how to play random touch rugby. i apparently cfm fail cos i get nervous when i get the ball. and i just hurl it away when im almost caught, fouling ._.
dinner was epic. everyone did not want to leave and keep on playing with balls. haha. in the end the older ppl started walking off then everyone followed. :P
after dinner we walk to sogurt, nearby :) SOGURT IS AWESOME (:
mixed grape with apple and lychee. cant taste lychee but now i still have the yogurt taste in my mouth (Y)
i earned 3 stamps to my loyalty card, and YAY next visit got $1 off (: thanks to my DGL and his gf

"amoebas in my tummy (:"
yesterday was fun! hahahaa cos i had an awesome golf DAY camp. lol. haha. day camp.
darren called in the morning, saying he suddenly had cramps and diarrhorea. shit. amoebas attacking him. still, he wanted to go (: then we went to school, no one there. LOL scare me.i tot a lot of ppl pon the camp. haha. then i realised how J1s are late ppl. LOL.
icebreakers was LAAAme at 1st. lol. we literally had to break ice into pieces and melt them using our feet. LOL. then i scared become like VIPC agn having cold feeet=fever. D: but then, my group supa epic. we cheated by throwing the ice cubes far far away (: yay (:
haha. then we had break. me and daren went to v12. lem said they were painting class. SO GOOD LOR. sigh. my classroom is screwed ttm. design so fugly, and yesterday all our tables kena stacked outside on the corridor. LOL. the only thing arranged nicely are 3 chairs in front of the board. haha.
so 12 is painting their classroom. damn epic. their design is... a farm. LOL. wonder why they so obsessed with cows. LOLL.
after break, we played mrt game. haha. din noe darren so weak. he was like owowowwowowowowwow stopit owowow hen his station is called out. WIN.

amazing race started! yay! i tot it would be like ipo agn, lunch at thaipan, dash to parkway, run to ice cream chef. that would become sian cos i alr did that : / haha
but the clue led us to the esplanade. wow. so high class place. LOL.
at the esplanade, we were really evil. haha. we had to ask 4 couples to name 4 famous golfers. darren was like "DUN interrupt their quality time la! l8r they talking bout their divorce u interrupt"
in the end guess who approached the couples.
then after that the clue led us to... wisma atria. i was like LOLWUT. so farr away. this amazing race is getting more fun (:
then i went down the most familiar amazing race lane ever.
i've been there for church amazing race
and church camp amazing race. LOL.
it was the stretch of road from the floating platform to raffles city.
there we went to city hall mrt and went to orchard. apparently darren claims he had never been to orchard b4. and never went to ion, when orchard mrt IS in ion. haha. win.
we had lunch at food republic, when i learnt how scam the chicken rice stall is. $5.30 for a plate of hawker centre grade chicken rice. go die la. haha. and the soup. the soup. is nissin noodle chicken flavour. rawr.
next clue... back to marina bay area. went to the helix (:
the task was to, across all 6 of our team, do the same action at one time.
the 3 actions were to
dance like a ballerina
tap ur head and rub ur tummy
and something i forgot LOL.
we werent supposed to discuss.
but i shouted, "eh i very hungry leh"
so 1st try, everyone did the same action. YAY
then i went over to suntec, never knew they had a sky garden there. haha. lol. walked down memory lane. the empty circles at the top floor. haha. the mass dance. good times. good times.
after the task, darren went to buy coke. walao. the coke. epic fail. after drinking indonesian coke, singapore coke tastes just like WATER. LOL.
still remember the last night of jakarta. drank 2 cans of indocoke. haha. went REALLY REALLY high after that. mastered the jojo joget script when i was drunk (:
after a few more tasks, my team emerged 1st (: ohh and the race ended in vivocity. LOL.
had debreifing there, and we did something really cool. everyone gets a piece of paper, and we write our name. then pass the paper to the person next to u where he will write what he thought about u. LOL.

Here in Jakarta...
the title brought back memories.
fond memories, of the 4th night of VIP Challenge 2011, which happened to be one of the most impactful camps of my life.
it was the Solemn Campfire.
the camp started off well, with everyone chit chatting bout our lives up a mountain that seemed like 2-4km high (i seriously dk how high the mt was haha) i still remember me and jack discover the wonders of an energy ball :D
then day by day, this epidermic spread through the 5 classes, killing each of our comrades one by one, by causing fever, vomitting, and sent to isolation, where they have to sleep to get better.
the cohort became silent and sad like on the 3rd day, when one-third of the cohort fell ill, with some even suspected dengue. oliver's fever was super scary. when trying to take his temperature, the reading shot up very fast from 36-39.7 very quickly, like as though we are measuring how fast a bicycle cycle past me or sth lidat.
day 4 afternoon. vincent and i were joking around, high fiving whenever we shouted that we havent gone to the loo. eventually, after the CIP activity, vincent caught the disease too. shit. i told him he really have to shit. but he was like "NO I must achieve my personal goal of NOT shitting for 5 days!"
sigh.
i told him once we get back to the hotel i would shit. so that the bad stuff will be shitted away. but still, he din want to : /
in the end. he was sent to isolation D:

omg. so many stars. its like mind blowing. i cant describe it here : / one can never see a view like this in singapore.

this means 2 things.
oh great another pun. haha.
firstly, i just finished 2 projects. like super stressful. hmph. bu yea. its great i finished it, and im confident with my projects :D
biology project. spent forever typing out all that crap, explaining and reasoning how a carrot grew fat in water. LOL.
but then again. my group's 12 paged report was nothing compared to other groups. okay some groups also did 10+ pages, at least we die together, but some just freaking did the report in 30pages. idk luh. its very scary cos those groups will have higher marks :/ sigh. okay nvm at least our report has a great cover page :D
2nd project... chemistry museum tour(:
damn epic sia. shalv was super random.
he took youjing's specs and wore it like some auntie lidat. i couldnt stop laughing at him but yea :D haha. nice job, group, idk if we did it in 12 minutes. (i think less :/) but NVM :P
but then again, im a little worried. cos my presntation was a simple straightforward one that include a damn epic joke, but a few other groups presentation was super interactive. a little hard for us cos my group out of fresh ideas :/ sigh. okay. nvm.
i love the part when we did a plum pudding model live at the museum :D siyao was like "shalv, pudding?"
"oh yea thank you! gimme some RAISINS"
(damn fail cos we got no raisins.)
siyao passes hi GOBSTOPPER instead. LOL.
one by one shalv placed the gobstoppers onto the mango pudding, and the coloring of the gobstoppers spread out to the innocent yellow jelly. HAHA. :D sian i forgot take picture. can always try again :D

oh well. i guess she gets to earn some points like to redeeem gifts :D Lol (: cos next friday is my mom's bday (sian i will return from VIPC that day. sooo tired) and my grandmother wants to gift her a present... of 4 tix to the Voyage circus show in sentosa :D 5pm sunday. CANT WAIT :D

i just downloaded firefox v4 beta yesterday :D its WAYYY better than chrome i guess :D cos it looks like chrome no, and mixed with what firefox alr has, BOOMZXC :D so cool (Y)

somehow my class spirit wasnt there at all these few days. i felt kinda sad cos, other classes were having fun... yea but we, we were hiding in our own depression corners and yea... today we realise our class is "storming" :/ and i hope we get through this fast :/ no mmood to write more, but these reflections were touching...
I think we should all encourage our class comm to improve instead of just passing negative comments! :)

I felt that I was a really horrible person who sucks TTMABL and I hope you guys forgive me if I had made you angry or did anything bad... Sorry yea.. I know it's too late but yea... Sorry...
Anyway..
The calm before the storm was.. BC and a few weeks..
Then.. The storm has come.. And IIVII will go through the storming before we are performing remember? :). Just let the storm hit us. It won't break us. We will go through it as one, as oneoneveeoneone.
I am proud of being in this class with y'all. (yj, look << LOL) I believe we can walk through this storm as one class. As one family.

Yep I totally agree on what Jack and Darren said. Cause I feel we have some 'storming' going on but we've got to understand that that's a part and parcel of making our class even more bonded! ((: So I hope all the misunderstandings we have with one another, let's just clear them up kay! And I also hope we wont bear grudges. If we dont like anything about someone let's just tell the person face to face nicely. Im sure he/she will accept and and we can make everything better!! Oh ya, sorry if I was really irritating during dance too but I really hope we can all cooperate and put up the best 11 show!
Hey guys. I know we're all very worried about this 'storming' phase that might 'hit us soon'. I just want to say that we should stay strong as a class. What I mean by that is that we should try to mix around with the scholars as well. In fact, we should make an attempt to establish a harmonious relationship with EVERYONE in the class; mix with someone you perhaps don't talk to very much. Only through this will we be able to forge stronger bonds together. We shouldn't be too worried about this, just focus on whats important now, which is projects and the VIP Challenge. Let's not forget that we are all indeed Sec 3s already; we should handle this maturely. Take this as a pinch of salt, let's move on. :)

After all the posts and stuff and many other things i have reflected and yeah, this week just really aint my week. I think i may have annoyed some ppl in some ways or maybe pissed you off. Usually i'm not like that, just stress i guess, and the caffeine, and the lack of sleep. Feel free to tell me if there are any aspects of my character i could improve on and i'll do the same for you guys too, in a very nice manner. I promise to sleep earlier from now on so i'll be better in class, especially during group discussions.
Awww yall are all such reflective beings :') i have nothing much to say but. Any prob do feel free to approach the 2 welfares(: we are here to lend you a listening ear yay. And maybe help you in one way or another. This week (and maybe the following weeks) might be hard but i believe the performing stage is not far. Go oneone ;)

I’m very glad that you all feedbacked to us when you thought that something was wrong, and I think that it actually displays class spirit, not in an enthusiastic matter but more of an affectionate one! So YAY!!!
Let’s forgive and forget and move on…… to storm through the storm quickly, please just be true to yourself, and that will get us through!
Ya, and as everyone else said, be nicer to everyone else and just try to look past flaws as much as possible as nobody is perfect.

but yeah anyways, i heard loads of people thought i was domineering? im really sorry if i seemed that way. sometimes i just get caught up in the stuff we're doing and all.. so yeah i'll try to keep that in mind as much as i can and be really cautious about it next time yeah :)
other than that, im always a text or phone call away for any constructive criticism/feedback/etc. :) IM VERY APPROACHABLE OKAY!!! :D:D:D

this was a hectic week i guess. loads of crap just came to me.
homework, fatigue, not to mention homework.
sigh...
anyways i just had my 1st golf training session on thursday. tho golf is ex, i joined it cos my dad loves to play golf and i also like to play (i guess) just that i had no chance to play, cos i was too busy :/ oh well. i might as well join this cca or else i will not end up in some other sports cca cos im not that skilled D:
oh well. at least my neighbour/classmate/friend darren joint golf with me (: guess what we did. yea, sad i din hit any balls. instead, we learnt how to hold a club properly. oh wells. it was quite funny laughing at the coach's jokes.
and we spent 1 hour on that. oh wells. at least next time can stay back practice hit balls. lol. so me and darren din really know how to go home. the teacher asks if we wanted to wait for a shuttle bus to the nearest MRT statio, which was 1 hour later. but we couldnt really wait alr, there was just too much hw and we had to get home asap. haha. so we walked out of the driving range and immediately found a taxi. hallelujah (: LOL the uncle was happy he got his customer immediately after he dropped the previous one off and din have to waste fuel escaping from the golf place to find a passenger :P
anyways...
on facebook my friends use this ^^ smiley. its so cute XD. but somehow jiejie dislikes them. haiz. now im urging to type ^^ on my smses but have to delete them or jiejie will get angry :/ LOLL
hmmm i should be chionging my homework now, but i feel very lazy. sigh. i guess i am affected by the 4months of not studying :/ ever since SA2 ended till the end of bridging curriculum, i have never learnt anything much. and do any revision. i feel damn screwed but nvm. at least im catching uo with almost all the lessons in school...

LITHOedown
this is not Lit-hoedown. i mean, who likes lit?

litho. hoedown.
its a geography options assignment.
and me and my group has to come up with a song about lithospheres sung in a hoedown format :D
yea so here it goes:-
This rigid shell lies on the surface of the earth
It is also known as the amazing lithosphere

15 hours with 11 part3
soooo... lunch was too gross to be true.
im not saying that Carl's jr sucks,
in fact, Carl's Jr ROCKS TTM
by ttm ofc, i mean to the max, not to the MIN.
oh well, puns aside
me and tristen were like fungry wolves alr.
so we shared a double feast thingy (CNY promo)
2 burgers
2types of fried stuff- fries and capsicum
oh how i love the fries~
anyway we nomnomnom and
yea, after that, TALK CRAP SESSION.
i always love talk crap sessions.
esp with my close frens that i love <3
be it in VIP or VS or TKP or tuition, i love to joke around with my friends, sharing the joy and love together.
but this wasnt an ordinary talkcrap session.

but all of them are under the JC segment.

so after sea regetta (or however u spell it)
a few of my frens went to my house to bathe.
the girls all went to the girls toilet.
and as for the guys.
"sean i forgot bring soap"
"borrow from the others?"
"LOL oops i din bring too"
"..."
so it seemed like they wanted to bathe without shampoo and soap.
oh wells.
i wanted to go up, kope some soap from my house, den come down agn to pass them the soap.
but i was too lazy alr.
so... i invited them into my house to bathe.
HAHAHA.
oliver went in 1st.
while i go to the other toilet to bathe.
after i cleaned myslef from the salty soap...
i came out.
i hear shower sounds from the toilet.
i tot it was tristen
but,
tristen was still in my room, soaking and waiting.

and waited
while i use facebook.

until finally, the door opened.
i tot it was my brother.
but i realised he was still in school.
so it was oliver.
he came out.

"oh cos ur toilet got 2 type of shampoo. i tried all of them"

i just woke up from the most enjoyable day i had in my life.
why?
because.
because, we had sea regetta in the morning.
sea regetta is a VJ event, where classes play games as a team, with the motive of getting us all salty and wet. haha.
damn epic. jiejie took my class as PSL, and let us pon half the games session and just slack in the ocean for 1half hours sia :D
damn fun. so sad it had to end.
we found a durex box on the sand.
marcus kor was like picking it up,

everyone laughed.

and place it side by side with the finger at the middle. LOL

because we saw a rainbow whenever we turned on the blasted tap.

i was sooo relieved to be from VS.
cos the pe pants pocket got zip de,
so no sand could enter the pocket :P
then one of my friends took off his pants.

blue tables, connectable chairs.
these week kinda sucked since tuesday happened. sigh. but im quite okay now luh. (Y)
i was kinda disappointed that i din get the position in class comm as secretary treasurer, but thats okay. my didi got it instead, and i think he will do well also! but i felt quite bad, cos my jiejie alr like sorta get me ready to be that role. shes damn helpful, like teach me how to do the secretary and treasuring stuff properly... but haiz. i let her down D: but thats okay. cos im also a secretary cum treasurer in my awesome church camp. i really liked the position cos all my church frens say that serving God is very good :D and so i treasured my role in church a lot :D
ok. anyway, after i realised i was not in, i felt i should let others get a chance to lead too. (: cos past few years ive been class monitor alr, and i really slack one (: but the teachers still like me :D
den ah, the seating arrangement very unfair. its not that i dun like mine, but im like the ONLY boy in the table. if i tell that to my VS friends, they will all go WALAO U PRO LUH. but then, i dun really like that. not because i dun like girls, i mean, theyre nice to me, but, i dun have someone to talk to in class. so i fell quite left out sia. all the other guys have at least another guy to relate to...
also. i miss two types of seating arrangement. one is the previous epic free-for-all seating, den i got a very cheerful table :/ but then, so sad. split up.
the other one is VS de. i miss seating with my best buddy, sigh. only he and i got into VIP sia, den hoping can zhong same class. 20% chance. but i damn suay D: now only can meet him at church, or i barge into his class (: LOLOL.
anyway, i miss the VS arrangement co the tables were more condusive for leaarning imho. cos rite, IP is hexagonal table. condusive 100% for chatting. and taiti. but if study, some ppl will crack their neck if they sat at the ultimate seat. haha. cos the board is behind them LOL.
so yea. i miss my good o' times. but IP is still fun-ner lah :D I DUN REGRET JOINING IT (:
anyways. we also have this angel mortal game in class. its like an encouragement circle. u encourage 1 person and he will not noe who encouraged him, and u will also have a secret encourager. i at first got a cool mortal. den the girls in the class all sibeh extra go play gossip and reveal their mortals. :/ so in the end the ct rep had to hold a redraw. and then i got a new mortal, so i just have to stick with it. LOL. anyway. some epic classmates drew their own name. so they encourage themselves ttm :D
today was cca walkabout, and for the first time in history, 11v11 split up into pieces D: so sad rite. cos we all got lost and like solid melting to liquid, the forces of attraction became weaker. LOL im crapping. okay. but i signed up for OutDoor Activities Club. along with many 11v11s and a few other 11vee mates :D epic sia. almost half of 11 joined odac. now i just have to pray reeel hard that the teacher in charge allows IP students to join a somewhat "exclusive" to JC cca. hahas

today was cca walkabout, and for the first time in history, 11v11 split up into pieces D: so sad rite. cos we all got lost and like solid melting to liquid, the forces of attraction became weaker. LOL im crapping. okay. but i signed up for OutDoor Activities Club. along with many 11v11s and a few other 11vee mates :D epic sia. almost half of 11 joined odac. now i just have to pray reeel hard that the teacher in charge allows IP students to join a somewhat "exclusive" to JC cca. hahas
oh yea. happy birthday to everyone on this planet today. xin nian chu qi! (day 7 of cny)!

confused.
sigh. im so messed up right now.
i have quite a huge sum of moneh from all the RM i earned by visiting peoples house.
lol.
damn epic.
in chinese instead of calling uncle and aunties
we have to call like er shu or lao shu etc etc
and im always confused bout that.
so this year.
i enter the house,
lucky lucky the adults auto give me angpao
i just say "xin nian kuai le, xie xie ni" and nvr greet them :D
HAHA
so... i boomed my sms cap last month,
and i alr told my dad i will cfm boom :P
so i think i should sign up for new youth plan, with unlimited sms.
den i just surfed the singtel shop.
12GB data plan inclusive.
i love my phone, but data plan means with iphone its better.
but i dun wan iphone.
i just want the javascript ability.
but then again, i have a lot of $$$ from angpao.
sigh.
plus, i want to keep my awesome HP number.
dun like to change.
need inform everybody

class com elections are coming in less than 24 hours....
and currently no one is running my desired position: secretary/treasurer :D

Literature homework :D
so... i zaoed from school immediately that day after VJ food drive. haha and i went to malaysia to visit my relatives for the CNY season. i spent quite A LOT of time sleeping like a vute lil' piggy haha, but also i played with my cousins. theyre all very cute and lovely <3
so... i came back just today. i on-ed my com

It has been a pretty short introduction, but by now all of you should have gotten a taste of what the Integrated Humanities will be like this year. Places mean a great deal to people, and we'd like you to take this Chinese New Year break to think about it on a personal level.

1. Take a picture of a place in Singapore that is significant to you.
2. Write and tell us about where that place is, what it means to you, and why.

VivoCity’s SkyPark is a very significant place to me, and it is located at the 3rd floor, which is the rooftop, of one of Singapore’s biggest shopping mall, VivoCity. It is directly above Harbourfront MRT station. The SkyPark spans across the entire rooftop of the mall, and has shallow pools for recreation and some cute and adorable sculptures. One of my favourite sculptures was an iron man hanging on a pull up bar and doing a 360 degree flip around the bar once every few minutes. My friends and I all went gobsmacked whenever all of us witnessed that, and wished we could all do that amazing stunt.
The skypark indeed brings back very fond memories I had with my church mates. It was like a popular hangout spot for us to have fun together as a group. The SkyPark is very windy, and also very relaxing. I felt like all my troubles in my mind were put behind whenever I head to the SkyPark with my friends.
One time, my friends and I had planned to meet up at VivoCity to just relax, chill and enjoy one another’s company in the midst of studying for our coming examinations then. We had agreed to bring our homework and assessment books to the outing so that we could study together, as well as help one another with our individual difficulties in a particular subject. One of my friends then began to start playing some music to keep the mood up, so that we would not be stressed and too worked up. After all, it was an outing, and outings are meant to be fun! However, we got overly distracted by the awesome music that was being aired, such that we all decided to use our hand phones to exchange songs. After we realised that we had stopped studying, we decided to call it a day and start playing card games. We played our favourite western themed role playing game for numerous rounds and laughed at one another’s jokes while playing.
We then headed to the shallow pools spread across the SkyPark and had a great time splashing around. That was one of the most enjoyable moments of my life, trying to get others wet without getting myself drenched. It was so exhilarating to dash about the pool while dodging splashes of water that my friends made. However, I got attacked a few times, and I went out of the pool, soaked not only with water, but also drenched with fun!
After all that craziness, we all felt chilly, especially with the cold gusts of wind blowing at us while we still had water dripping from our clothes. We decided to dash into the mall for shelter, but the freezing air-conditioning system did not help us at all. It was then one of us suggested we should head for the toilets, where we could not only answer nature’s calls, but also to put the hand dryers to good use. I still remember the wonderful feeling when the warm air gushed all over my body. Once we were done drying up, we hanged around the area, suggesting where we should head for dinner together.
After a few suggestions were listed, we all unanimously agreed on splitting up to a few fast food restaurants and order our own preferred meal, and then bringing up the food to the SkyPark to eat together. It was like a picnic, except that we did not have a mat. All of us met back together at a beautiful location in the SkyPark where there were not many people around, and a gorgeous view of Sentosa Island and some gigantic cruises. We had a great time of fellowship and camaraderie while having the meal. We chatted about our lives and some interesting stories, all the way through the night, until some of our parents called up and anxiously asked why we were not at home yet.
The SkyPark at VivoCity really brought me back a lot of memories whenever I think about it. The enjoyable moments I had when hanging out with a few of my closest friends will never be erased from my mind. How I wish I could organise yet another outing with my church mates to hang out at the SkyPark again. There was always a lot we could talk about to one another, but we just have not much time nowadays, since some of us were too busy with schoolwork.
